The stars are bright tonight
Shining off in their own world
So far away from everything I know
It is beyond my comprehension how far they really are
There are times when I wish I could be up among the stars
Far away from all that is normal and recognizable
A single light in the black of night
A beacon of hope
No matter what, you can always see one
One star that can hold more meaning than it seems
A connection between two people
A fire for each other that will never burn out
A star is everlasting
